If you wish to cancel a “pending” reservation, meaning a reservation that has yet to be confirmed you may cancel it by emailing our support team.
If you wish to cancel a “scheduled” reservation, meaning a reservation to which you have received a confirmation email for, please reach our support team. Please note cancellation fees may apply as per our terms of service.
When a renter cancels a reservation, a Renter Cancellation Fee may be charged at CarHopper's sole discretion. This fee is charged to compensate for the time the car was booked and unavailable for other potential renters.
If prior to your rental start date the car you had reserved has been damaged due to unforeseen circumstances, CarHopper will offer you the most comparable alternatives but cannot guarantee that the same make and model from your previous reservation will be offered. If you choose to not move forward with any of the options provided, you will be eligible to cancel your reservation and be issued a partial refund with a 10% cancellation fee applied.
The trip fee is non-refundable once an hour has elapsed from the time the trip is booked (i.e. when the Affiliate confirms the pending trip).
After a trip has started, it is not refundable and may not be canceled.
